Signposted #21

Featuring How to get players to READ your dialogue & a tool for beating creative block

Currently wishing I was playing Mario Kart World

Hey Designer,

Welcome back to issue #21 of Signposted!

In this week’s issue I have two resources for your consideration.

The main course is an article helpful in equipping me with strategies to get players to actually READ in game dialogue. (One of the greatest challenges for Narrative Designers) Honestly I think a lot of these strategies expand to anything text based within games designers make.

And a bonus exercise this week covers a printable deck of cards with questions to help you get past creative block.

And that’s it for Issue 21!

Thanks for reading and I’ll see you next week!
